Base Information for the Design of a Solid Waste Strategic Plan

The project aims to carry out a diagnosis, through the identification, description, and characterization of the current generation and management situation of all the municipal solid wastes generated in Uruguay, except the Montevideo Metropolitan Area. We expect to provide the national and municipal governments with an updated diagnosis, as well as with the guidelines for technical and economic decisions in the short and medium terms.
