Load Transport and Passenger Demand Study

Traffic was surveyed at 174 stations for 3 and 7 days in each one of them. Approximately 250,000 surveys were collected, processed, and verified. A customized software for the management of the collected road information was designed. A methodology for processing and updating of Origin-Destiny matrices, traffic and matrix calculation at the national level, and calculation of the input-regional product matrix by economic sector was designed. The Ministry of Transport and Communications was provided with a program with the database from the collected field information.
