We Received Recognition at the 14th Uruguayan Road Congress

As part of the 14th Uruguayan Road Congress, CSI, together with the Montevideo City Government, received the Award for Best Technical Work, a distinction that recognizes contributions to innovation in urban mobility management.

The award-winning paper, titled “Implementation of a Fully Adaptive Traffic Signal Management System in Montevideo: The Tres Cruces Area Experience, was authored by Virginia Ruso Torterolo, Juan Pablo Berta, and Mauro Bruzzone.

The study describes the implementation of a comprehensive traffic signal control system that optimizes traffic flow and improves road safety, contributing to more efficient and sustainable mobility. It is a state-of-the-art traffic signal control system capable of adapting in real time to traffic conditions. This technology represents the global state of the art in traffic signal management, as it dynamically adjusts signal patterns based on real-time traffic demand.

In addition, during the conference, we presented seven other technical papers, one of which won the award for best paper in the Mobility, Logistics, and ITS track.

At CSI, we are honored to receive these awards from the Uruguayan Road Association, which reinforces our commitment to developing cutting-edge technical solutions and applying engineering to create a more connected and safer city.
