Survey of the Uruguayan Airport Network

We started the survey of the 8 airports managed by Aeropuertos Uruguay, incorporating pavement evaluation technology for the first time in terminals nationwide.

As part of our commitment to the development of strategic infrastructure, CSI has initiated a new cycle of technical surveys in the national airport system. In 2024, we will tour the 8 airports operated by Aeropuertos Uruguay, starting with the Laguna del Sauce terminal, whose survey stage has already been completed and is currently in the data processing phase.

This work incorporates the measurement of the Pavement Condition Index (PCI), an international reference methodology that allows for an accurate assessment of pavement condition. Through this analysis, more efficient investments can be planned, intervention times can be optimized and the technical coverage of the diagnosis can be extended.

CSI combines state-of-the-art technology with specialized technical knowledge to generate solutions that enhance the country’s infrastructure.

The incorporation of inland terminals in this type of study marks a milestone in national airport management, ensuring greater territorial equity in access to safe and quality infrastructure.
