History
CSI was founded in 1980 when a small group of technicians formed their own company. Arandú Cabrera founded CSI Ingenieros (for Consulting and Engineering Services), together with his colleagues Carlos Trambauer and Luis García Ferrés, as well as Graciela Bossi, Eduardo Ben and Nestor Fraga, all six former SAMAN employees.
Since then CSI has completed thousands of major projects in Uruguay and in 40 other countries, and has become the country’s leading provider of consulting and engineering services, and one of the most innovative and thriving companies in the region.
