We were contracted to design and implement a new floor level system at a plant to replace an elevated water tank. The goal was for the new system to supply fresh water to the plant’s process more efficiently. We also upgraded the clarification system, removing some of the old infrastructure and installing a mechanically and electrically upgraded version.

The project focused on several disciplines: mechanical, electrical and structural.

• Survey and design: We surveyed the current installations and worked with the client to define the new location of the tanks and distribution lines. We resized the entire impulsion system, including piping, pumps and other accessories.
• Plans and calculations: We created the plans for the new design and calculated the structure for the pumps and the foundation for the tanks. We also verified the piping and pumps to be installed.
• Documentation: We deliver layout drawings, piping isometrics and a list of all materials, piping and valves required.

The modernization of the water system improved the plant’s operational efficiency and safety. This allowed for more reliable water distribution for the production process.
