Transportation Infrastructure
Development of the integrated management system for circuit No. 3, route 14.

Project Description

We were hired by Circuito Vial 3 S.A. to prepare a proposal for the development of the Integrated Management System (SGI) for the Circuito N° 3 of Route 14 Central-West.
Our main objective is to optimize and facilitate the management of the road network through the development of a system that integrates two complementary subsystems: the Operation Management Subsystem (SGE) and the Traffic Management Subsystem (SGT), interconnected in a coherent and efficient way.

Our scope

Technological aspects

We developed a proposal based on modern, interoperable and secure tools:

  • A web application accessible from the Internet, with access control and internal auditing system.
  • Integration with SIPLA (MTOP Planning System).
  • Consideration of the integration trends of the MTOP with the Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) and the creation of a provisional node.
  • Flexibility to couple the IMS with legacy systems that share or interact with the proposed data model.

Operation Management Subsystem (OMS)

  • Development and constant updating of a road inventory of the circuit.
  • Incident, accident and road safety management, centralized in the SGE.
  • Administration of technical standards, both basic and complementary.
  • Management of files related to the use and defense of the network.
  • Implementation of self-monitoring tools for standards control.

Traffic Management Subsystem (TMS)

  • Construction and maintenance of a traffic database.
  • Development of a vehicle count data visualization application.
  • Tool for entry, processing and historical management of traffic data.
  • Implementation of a Western Digital NAS with a 4 TB capacity, for the secure backup of all recorded data.

Complementary services

  • We train the client’s team with a 30-hour training plan.
  • We provide software maintenance service for two years, ensuring technical support and necessary updates.
