We designed an agro-industrial project to produce milk powder in a sustainable manner. This included a dairy with capacity for 8,800 cows. We also did the detailed engineering of the civil works, production buildings and the road and hydraulic infrastructure.

The project integrated several parts:

• Milk powder plant: Production capacity of 14,000 tons per year.
• Dairy and offices: One main dairy with two rotary systems, production area and an office building for personnel.
• Administrative offices: A building for management and administration.
• Stables: 14 “Freestall” type stables, in addition to maternity, calf raising and quarantine areas.
• Grain plant: A plant to store 11,350 tons of grain.
• Biodiesel and vegetable oil: Plants to produce biodiesel (2,300 tons per year) and vegetable oil.
• Energy: Civil works for biodigesters and a 3 MW power plant.
• Water management: A reservoir, a water intake, an impulsion line and a treatment plant with a 200 m³/h capacity. Also distribution networks and internal sanitation.

We prepare documents for bidding and for the construction of buildings and infrastructures. We advise the client in the review of contractor bids and accompany the project during the execution phase.

This project laid the foundation for large-scale agro-industrial production. This allowed for integrated management of the infrastructure, from production to energy.
