CSI was hired by Adium Pharma to carry out the expansion project of the plant located in San Juan, Argentina. The expansion included the refurbishment of the 700 m² Inhalation Plant -which was to be operational in the first quarter of 2024- and the construction of a new 2,600 m² Processing Plant, scheduled to start operations in the first quarter of 2025.
Our scope contemplated project management, design and construction management services, and included:
Survey of requirements and authorizations: We analyze the client’s needs and review the necessary authorizations before the corresponding organizations.
Preliminary design / basic engineering: We conducted a general survey of the existing facilities and services, defined a preliminary layout and estimated the costs of the different services. For the site survey we used point cloud scanning technology with Trimble X7 equipment.
Detailed engineering: We develop the designs of civil, architecture, HVAC, electrical, weak voltages, sanitary, fire system and piping disciplines.
Bidding: We prepare the documentation for the calls for prices, accompany Adium Pharma in the management and collaborate in the technical-economic equalization of the bids.
Work follow-up: We supervise the progress of the tasks and the integration of the equipment acquisition to the general schedule, including the monitoring of tests and qualifications under GMP standards.
Commissioning: We verify the installations and assist during project closing.
With this project we reaffirmed our experience in the integrated management of industrial works, combining planning, design and control to ensure that each stage complies with technical standards and deadlines.
