Transportation Infrastructure
Bypass to the city of Ecilda Paullier, Uy

We developed the executive project to complete the double lane of Route 1, specifically the design of the westbound path around the city of Ecilda Paullier. This work included the resolution of the intersections with local roads.

What our work covered

We prepared the detailed executive project for 4.5 km of the second carriageway of Route 1. We were in charge of solving the level intersections with the east and west accesses to Ecilda Paullier, with the Kiyú beach resort and with Route 11.

We also verified the drainage works of the existing road and sized the drainage structures for the new pathway, with the objective of not affecting the residents of the area.

Finally, we deliver to the client an integrated BIM model for use during the construction phase.

Scope of the project

The project included the design of asphalt and concrete pavements, as well as hydrological and hydraulic studies. We carried out the executive geometric design of the 4.5 km of the new roadway and five at-grade intersections.

We also designed the signaling and defenses. For more precise planning, we integrated the road and hydraulic projects into a BIM model, which allowed us to jointly analyze possible interferences and quantify the works.

Project impact

The detailed planning of this section of Route 1 completed key road infrastructure. This improved traffic flow and safety, benefiting the local community and road users.
