Transportation Infrastructure
Design and calculation of the structure of the bridge over the Chamizo Creek.

We developed the project for a 60-meter long and 6-meter wide bridge in the department of Florida, Uruguay. The work is part of a plan to improve the roads that give access to the agricultural plantations in the area.

The bridge is of the slab type, without cross girders and with a variable depth top slab. The intermediate piers have a circular cross-section of 0.50 m in diameter and are connected to the superstructure. The bases are rigid, of reinforced concrete, with a depth of 0.50 meters.

In addition, we designed an overflow structure to maintain the water level in the creek upstream of the bridge.

We prepare the documents for the construction of the project, including plans, technical specifications, memories and calculations of the work.

The construction of this bridge improved connectivity for agricultural producers. This ensured reliable access for crop transportation and facilitated logistics in the region.
