Detailed Engineering for the Albisu I Solar PV Plant Expansion

We developed the detailed engineering for the expansion of the Albisu I solar photovoltaic plant, increasing its generation capacity by 4 MWac. The project included the integration of the new infrastructure with the existing facility and the design for the installation of a new voltage regulator at the Itapebí Substation.

Our role covered the development of a comprehensive engineering solution, coordinating the electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines to ensure an efficient expansion fully compatible with the existing operating infrastructure.

Scope of the project

We develop:

  • Electrical engineering, including system configuration and engineering calculation reports.
  • Mechanical engineering, including the structural design of inverter supports and the pile layout.
  • Civil engineering for the expansion of internal roads, the design of access roads and maneuvering areas, drainage works, a hydrological report, and the technical documentation required for construction.

Impact of the Project

This project contributed to increasing the renewable energy generation capacity of the Albisu I solar photovoltaic plant through detailed engineering that seamlessly integrated the expansion with the existing infrastructure, enhancing the facility’s reliability and overall performance.
