The Teyma-Saceem consortium, which won the project for 8 Wärtsilä motor-generators, hired us to develop the detailed design of all the piping. We were in charge of the design and interconnection of the piping from the engine room to the services of the Batlle power plant.

What our work covered

Our main tasks included:

• Documentation: We create the specifications and bill of materials for the piping works.
• Piping bridge design: We designed the bridge that connects the engine room with the aeroradiator room.
• Pipe laying: We designed the laying of more than 17,000 meters of piping for various systems:
  • Fuel supply (fuel oil and gas oil).
  • Cooling water.
  • Lubricating oil.
  • Raw and treated water.
  • Steam and condensate.
  • Compressed air.
• Detailed drawings: We design isometric drawings for each of the lines and piping support drawings.
• On-site assistance: We provide on-site assistance to the mechanical works management.

The detailed design of the piping network ensured efficient and safe integration of the motor-generators. This enabled reliable operation of the power plant.
