Transportation Infrastructure
Executive project of the BRT trunk system

We carried out the executive project for the final engineering design of the BRT Trunk System – Central Corridor. The main section was extended from Tte. César Díaz Pefaur and Stella Maris Avenue to the intersection of Luis Alberto de Herrera and Brasil Street.

The project also contemplated a variant for the return route, which started from Luis Alberto de Herrera and Hernandarias, passing through Dr. Luis Garcete to Don Bosco, where it joined the outbound route. The total length of the project was 3.2 km.

For this project, we carried out several studies and designs:

  • Topographical and geotechnical studies.
  • Design of bridges, culverts and overpasses.
  • Design of rigid pavements for the BRT lanes and flexible pavements for the public lanes. This included analysis of materials, soils and existing works in the corridor.
  • Hydrological and hydraulic studies for drainage works.
  • Geometric design of the corridor.
  • Electrical design, with a project to readjust the existing MV, LV, lighting and data networks.
  • Architectural design for passenger loading and unloading stations.

The detailed planning of this transportation corridor laid the groundwork for a modernization of the public transportation system. This will improve mobility in the area and provide a more efficient and safer infrastructure for passengers.
