CSI was hired for the design, management and construction management of the new industrial plant of Nestlé del Uruguay S.A. in Parque Zona Este, in Canelones.

The project included the detailed design of the architecture, structure and infrastructure, such as pavements, drainage and fire systems.

For the production building, we designed a metal structure with a sheet metal roof and precast concrete walls. In the toaster room, we use sandwich panels with rock wool. For the mixing room, we designed a concrete mezzanine. The office building and support areas were built with steel structure and Steel Deck mezzanines.

In addition to the designs, we perform other tasks:

• Documentation: We prepare tender documents, analyze bids and recommend the award of contracts. We also managed the construction permits before the Intendencia de Canelones.
• Construction management: We followed up on the schedule, coordinated all parties involved and supervised the work to ensure quality.
• Reports: We deliver monthly reports on the progress of the project.

The planning and management of this project ensured the construction of an efficient new industrial plant. This allowed Nestlé to modernize its operations and infrastructure in a strategic location.
