Manga Pumping Station

We worked on the detailed design of the domestic wastewater pumping station for the Manga basin. The work included the planning of the Manga and Repetto force mains, as well as the modernization of the Repetto pumping station. We integrated the hydraulic, structural, electrical, mechanical, and architectural components to deliver a complete and functional design.

Our work focused on several key areas:

  • Detailed Design of the Manga Pumping Station: We designed the station, including the channels, wet well, relief pumping pit, discharge manifold, and an odor control system. We used the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology to model all disciplines, which enabled efficient coordination and the generation of the required documentation.
  • Upgrade Project for the Repetto Station: We carried out the hydraulic and electrical design to increase the flow capacity of the Repetto pumping station.
  • Hydraulic Transient Study: We performed a study for both pumping systems and designed the protection systems, such as hydropneumatic tanks, to mitigate the effects of water hammer.

The outcome of our work included design drawings, design reports and calculations, technical specifications, and bill of materials. This allowed the client to launch a bidding process for the construction phase.

This project enabled us to design an integrated solution for wastewater pumping, ensuring the proper operation of the system and the optimization of resources.
