For Cementos del Plata, we carried out the complete project for the construction of an electrical substation. The objective was a 60/6.3KV, 6MVA substation with distribution lines for the process areas.

What our work covered

Our project included several key tasks for the substation and electrical distribution:

• Single-line plans and design: We created the single-line plans of the substation and the distribution design for the 60 kV equipment.
• Equipment specifications: We detail the specifications for the purchase of electrical equipment, including transformers, 6.3 kV switchgear, switchgear, protection relays and energy meters.
• Grounding mesh: We designed the grounding mesh project, performing resistivity measurements on site.
• Civil and architectural project: We were in charge of the civil project for the installation of the equipment, the architectural design and the structural calculation of the substation building.
• Construction specifications: We prepare the technical specifications for the construction of the building and the assembly of all equipment.

The detailed planning of this substation ensured a reliable electrical infrastructure for the cement plant. This facilitated efficient and safe power distribution to all production areas.
