We carried out the engineering work for the renovation and electrical retrofit of the UTE Florida Substation, with the goal of modernizing its systems and ensuring the functional compatibility of the new equipment with the existing infrastructure and UTE’s technical standards.

The project included the upgrade of transformers, protection systems, and AC and DC distribution panels, ensuring efficient integration with the substation’s switching and control equipment.

Scope of the project

We develop:

  • Engineering for the replacement and retrofitting of transformers.
  • Updating protection systems, including relays, logic circuits, signals, and interlocks.
  • Renovation of the auxiliary AC and DC switchboards.
  • Preparation of functional diagrams, single-line diagrams, interconnection diagrams, logic diagrams, and technical documentation in the formats required by UTE.

Impact of the Project

Through this project, we are contributing to the modernization of a substation that is strategic to the national power grid, improving the reliability of its protection and distribution systems, and ensuring that the infrastructure is ready for safer, more efficient operation in line with UTE’s technical standards.
