We participated in the Montevideo Agri-Food Park project, a 95-hectare site in the La Tablada area. The work consisted of the construction of the first stage, which included several pavilions, the administrative center and the activities center.
The first stage of the works included:
- More than 1,200,000 m³ of soil movement.
- More than 180,000 m² of pavements.
- Approximately 53,000 m² of roofed areas.
- More than 40,000 linear meters of pipelines for drainage, water, fire protection, electricity and weak currents.
Our company was responsible for several key tasks:
- Engineering review: We review all detailed engineering projects prior to construction.
- Supervision and control: We supervise the works, controlling the quality, physical and financial progress.
- Administrative management: We manage the construction contract and prepare monthly activity reports for the client.
- Advice: We provide technical and administrative advice throughout the process.
The construction of this agri-food park modernized Montevideo’s food distribution infrastructure. The project created an efficient, high-quality logistics center for the region.
