Project Description:

We assisted the Jamaican Shipping Association in drafting the terms of reference, launching the bidding processes, and overseeing the feasibility and design studies related to drainage and road infrastructure issues at the Newport West Port. We also assisted in structuring a public-private partnership (PPP) for the financing and implementation of these infrastructure projects.

Project scope:

1. We are funding a conference.
2. We draft the terms of reference and prepare cost estimates for feasibility studies, designs, and bidding processes for drainage and road projects.
3. We launch and monitor the bidding processes and the implementation of feasibility studies, as well as construction contracts specifically for drainage projects.
4. We established and negotiated a public-private partnership (PPP) for the drainage project.

We help lay the technical, financial, and contractual groundwork to improve the hydraulic resilience and road operations at the Port of Newport West, strengthening its long-term competitiveness and sustainability through a comprehensive and structured approach.
