Los Nogales potable water supply and distribution program

We participated in the Water Supply and Distribution Program for Nogales, Sonora, a comprehensive project to improve the city’s water system. The main objective was to rehabilitate and expand the primary network and increase distribution capacity.

The project included:

  • The construction of more than 33 km of adduction pipelines with diameters between 12 and 30 inches.
  • The construction of five reinforced concrete storage tanks with a combined capacity of 3,700 cubic meters.
  • Replacement of a 5,500-meter section of the main sewer main.

Our Supervisory Role

Our tasks focused on supervision to ensure the correct execution of the project. Our key objectives were:

  • Project review and modification: We analyze existing designs and make the necessary changes.
  • Executive projects: We develop new executive projects based on modifications.
  • Supervision and quality control: We supervised the progress of the works and verified that quality standards were met.
  • Management and control: We carry out a physical and financial follow-up of the works.
  • Report generation: We prepare weekly, biweekly and monthly reports for OOMAPAS and NADB.
  • Management support: We assist OOMAPAS in communication and coordination with the different stakeholders.

The successful development of this program in Nogales reinforces our experience in the management of water infrastructure projects, highlighting our ability to supervise complex works and ensure their quality.
