Construction supervision and inspection for wastewater treatment plant Tornillo, Texas

The works included sanitary sewers, pumping stations and a wastewater treatment plant. This plant, with an activated sludge system, has a capacity of 0.734 million gallons per day (MGD).

The project was executed by three contractors, and our supervision work lasted 11 months, beginning in February 2008. The work program was financed with funds from the North American Development Bank (NADB) and the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB).

Our objective was to ensure that the project execution met the established quality standards and deadlines. Our main activities included:

  • Supervision of works and quality control: We ensure that the works are carried out properly.
  • Follow-up and control: We carry out physical and financial control of the works to guarantee their progress.
  • Reporting: We generate weekly and monthly reports for the client, EPCTWID, and NADB.
  • Management support: We provide support to EPCTWID in communication and coordination with the different project stakeholders.
  • Change management: We take care of the realization and evaluation of change orders, as well as the follow-up of your payments.

The completion of this sanitation project reinforces our experience in the management and supervision of water infrastructure projects, highlighting our ability to meet financing requirements and client expectations.
