We were hired to supervise the construction of a WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) and its associated infrastructure for the towns of Rio Bravo and Nuevo Progreso. The objective of our consultancy was to ensure that the works were executed according to the contracts, with the expected quality and within the established budget and deadlines.

What our work covered

The project included the construction of a 190 lps WWTP with a lagoon system, a 609 m discharge outfall, pumping stations at Rio Bravo (240 lps) and Nuevo Progreso (60 lps), and their respective impulsion lines. A collector was also built at Río Bravo.

Our supervision focused on several areas:

• Review and staking out: We review the projects and carry out the staking out of the work.
• Supervision and quality control: We supervise the works and control the quality of the execution.
• Physical and financial control: We monitored the physical and financial progress of the works.
• Reporting: We generate weekly and monthly reports for COMAPA and NADB.

Our supervision ensured the proper execution of vital sanitation infrastructure. This ensured that the wastewater treatment plant was built to quality standards and on schedule.
