We were contracted to design and supervise a new module. The goal was to double the treatment capacity to 120 liters per second (lps).
The project included the construction of a new treatment system with several stages:
We also designed a primary treatment system for the pipe trucks. A settler with a gas scrubber was installed. The quality of the treated water complied with NOM-003-ECOL-1997.
Our supervision included the review of the executive project and quality control of the work. We monitored the physical and financial progress. Finally, we supervised the operational testing and commissioning of the plant for three months.
The expansion of the treatment plant improved sanitation capacity and waste management in the area. This ensures more efficient and sustainable water treatment in the long term.
