Regional lessons on WEEE

We were present at Expo Uruguay Sostenible with a presentation focused on the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in Latin America.

During the event, we shared experiences, lessons learned and challenges in the implementation of WEEE plans in the region, within the framework of the talk “Lessons learned in the implementation of WEEE plans in Latin America”. The meeting was an opportunity to reflect on the different strategies developed in the continent, common obstacles and good practices in this key issue for sustainability.

We had the outstanding participation of Daniel Ott, who provided a global perspective on the management of electronic waste, stressing the importance of traceability, extended producer responsibility and the development of circular chains that integrate the public and private sectors.

From CSI, together with CIEMSA and Reverse Logistics Group (RLG), we reaffirm our commitment to an increasingly efficient management of technological waste, betting on innovative and collaborative solutions that promote sustainable development in the region.
