We were hired by Adium Pharma to carry out the expansion project of its plant in Asunción, Paraguay. The work consisted in the construction of a new production area of 11,000 m² distributed in four floors, with start-up scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.

The expansion included moving the microbiological laboratory into the current building and the construction of warehouses, product conditioning areas, offices, workshops, toilets, changing rooms and other key spaces for the operation.

Our work included project management, design and construction management services. We started by surveying the client’s requirements and reviewing the necessary authorizations before the competent authorities.

In the preliminary design and basic engineering stage, we conducted a general survey of the existing facilities and services, defined a preliminary layout and estimated costs. For the site survey we used point cloud scanning technology with Trimble X7 equipment.

In detail engineering, we develop civil and architectural designs, HVAC, electrical installations, weak voltages, sanitary systems, fire protection systems and other services (piping).

We prepare the bidding documentation and accompany the client in the management of the price calls, assisting in the technical-economic equalization of the bids received.

During execution, we carry out the physical follow-up of the works and the acquisition of equipment and services, integrating them into the general schedule and including tests and qualifications under GMP standards. Finally, during commissioning, we verify the installations and accompany the closing of the project.

This work allowed Adium Pharma to significantly expand its production capacity with state-of-the-art facilities, optimizing processes and ensuring high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
