We were contracted to provide project management services for the development of package three designs for the Bicentennial Schools. Our work included the quality control of the designs and the BIM integration of the projects of all the disciplines involved.

Throughout the project, we coordinated and closely followed the design process, planned the work breakdown structure, identified deliverables and maintained constant communication with the designers and the Client. We prepared and distributed progress reports, and performed monthly approval of the designers’ progress.

We also assist in the call for prices, in the preparation of the contracting packages and in the awarding and negotiation of the contract. We control the project based on measurable indicators, monitoring the physical and economic progress, and we manage the changes with both the designers and the final Client of the Consortium.

We implemented a project-specific communications plan, which included communication principles, instructions, document review and approval processes, as well as the storage and distribution of all documentation.

In the area of BIM integration and coordination, we prepare the BIM Execution Plan, perform Clash Detection and work until a federated model is achieved. In addition, we execute the quality control (QA/QC) of the designs and the BIM model.

The disciplines that were part of the work were topography, earthwork, civil, architecture, structure and MEP installations.

With this project we reaffirm our experience in management, quality control and BIM integration, contributing to the development of quality educational infrastructure.
