The CSI team developed the comprehensive design for the third phase of a combined cycle power plant for data centers in Dublin, contributing its expertise in the integration of key systems to ensure optimal performance.
Using state-of-the-art tools such as AutoCAD Plant 3D and Arrow, we developed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and piping models that formed the backbone of the facility. Based on a thorough analysis of the requirements, we worked closely with suppliers to define the necessary specifications that allowed equipment to be efficiently located and supported.
Thanks to process modeling in Arrow, we accurately sized the pipes and defined special fittings such as temperature control units and steam traps, aligning every decision with the plant’s operational needs
To ensure the structural integrity and durability of the system, we carried out stress analysis studies that allowed us to define the location of supports to reduce risks and improve operational reliability. In parallel, we designed the electrical installations associated with these systems, from the layout of the electrical room to cable sizing and the definition of cable trays, ensuring seamless integration with the overall plant infrastructure.
Once all the details were defined, we prepared comprehensive material lists that served as procurement documents, facilitating accurate quoting of equipment and installation.
