We were hired by VELCRO Group for the detailed design and construction management of a new 10,000 m² industrial plant. The plant is dedicated to produce polypropylene tapes for export.

What our work covered

First, we designed the initial master plan. We analyzed where to locate the floor plan, the spaces and the general layout. Then, we made detailed designs of various areas:

• Architecture: We designed the industrial building, the office and services building, the access control and other support facilities.
• Structure: We designed the 125×64 m industrial building with a metal structure and concrete walls. The two-story office building was also designed with concrete. In addition, we designed a buried concrete water reservoir.
• Infrastructure: We take care of pavement and drainage designs.

We also did the detailed designs of the industrial facilities, which included:

• Power and lighting: We designed the 31.5 kV grid connection, substation, 400 VAC power installation and lighting systems.
• HVAC: We design cooling, ventilation and heating systems.
• Fire: We designed a network of hydrants, sprinklers and extinguishers, with a water reserve of 426 m³.
• Sanitary: We take care of the sanitary design.

Finally, we did the management of the work. This included purchasing control, construction management and contract closing.

This project allowed VELCRO Group to build a new modern and efficient industrial plant. We provided a complete solution from design to site management.
