CSI was hired for the project to relocate the Nestlé plant in Montevideo. For the new location in Parque Zona Este, in Canelones, we produced the detailed architectural, structural, and infrastructure designs. The project included storage, processing, and maintenance areas, as well as offices, laboratories, and support areas. An access control system for people and vehicles was also designed.

The project focused on creating the detailed designs for the new plant.

• Detailed Designs: We handle the architectural, structural, and infrastructure designs (paving, drainage), as well as the fire protection system.
• Documentation: We prepare and provide all the necessary documentation for construction and the bidding process, including drawings, technical specifications, project descriptions, and bills of materials.
• Procedures: We prepare the drawings and handle the processing and approval of building permits with the Canelones Municipal Government.

Detailed planning for the new plant facilitated the relocation of Nestlé’s operations. This ensured a smooth transition and the construction of a modern infrastructure.
