The objective was the execution of preliminary studies for the construction of a bridge over the Cebollatí River, thus connecting Route 91 with the town of La Charqueada (Enrique Martínez) and adapting Route 91 itself.
Our service included several key projects:
The study included several technical tasks for the design of the bridge. We carried out a hydrological-hydraulic study to determine the height of the deck and the length of the bridge, as well as the scour study and protection of the piers.
We prepared a geometric design according to the conditions agreed with the DNV and conducted traffic studies to define the vehicular flow. We also designed the pavements and analyzed alternatives for the structural package, floodable cross section, storm drainage and signage.
We identify the affected services, quantify the works and perform an analysis of the impact of the proposed works. For the Preliminary Environmental Authorization, we prepare the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), the Summary Environmental Report (SAR) and participate in meetings with the client and the Ministry of Environment.
Project impact
The detailed planning of this bridge and the adequacy of the route will facilitate a safe and efficient connection. This will improve connectivity in the region and provide more reliable infrastructure in the face of river flooding.
