Transportation Infrastructure
Supervision of works, National Route N°1, Haiti

Our company, CSI, was contracted to supervise the reconstruction of 10 km of Haiti’s National Route N1 from Plaisance to Camp Coq. The project was part of the Transport Sector II program, and our objective was to ensure that the works were carried out on time and in compliance with the standards in force.

What tasks do we perform in supervision?

Our work was divided into two main areas:

Technical assistance

We carry out an exhaustive inspection of the entire construction process, from the quality of the materials to the final product. We also reviewed and approved the executive projects, and provided technical assistance throughout the execution of the work, supervising both civil and road works. We ensured compliance with all applicable standards and technical specifications.

Administrative assistance

We were in charge of the administrative control of the project, recording specific expenses related to the execution of the works. We inspected the program and payment schedule, and managed the project documentation, including the review of subcontracts, logbook control, organization of meetings and preparation of financial reports.

Project impact

Our supervision ensured that the reconstruction of Route N1 was carried out efficiently and with high quality standards. This contributed to the improvement of Haiti’s road infrastructure and compliance with the deadlines established in the program.
